Dear Robert[2]:-
Thank you for
the beautiful little statue you sent me, I put pansies in her pocket and she
looked very nice.
I got a pretty
plant a (sic) azalea from the Dr[3]. a
corsage from Marion & Walt[4].
Five from Lydia this paper and some more things. Cornelia came in went to
church with me. After church I went with her for dinner came home Monday
Morning[5].
This was the
first Easter that I didn’t have the dinner at my house. For next Sunday Billie[6]
asked me out to there (sic) place, being alone I am invited out more. Had a
letter from Beth[7].
Sally as quilt a time finding a house. They may have to buy one to get a place
to live, and that is Burlingame 6 rooms, Neil would have to commute into SF
that’s 16 miles, but they still keep on looking.
I am not going
to Boise hear it much talk about civilians traveling who have no business doing
so[8]. And
as you said it’s no fun now day.
Lydia[9] may
come home in May, and Margaret[10]
is coming so I had better stay where I am. My Roomer has left but it’s so nice
to be alone, so I have no rented it - yet. Did I tell you before the
Chesterfield[11]
looks very nice, I have it in the front room by the small window. It makes the
room look larger.
